So for the height I went off of the height of 3-ring mechanism I could find. Which is a silver, 1” (2.54 cm), round mechanism 9.5” [24.13 cm] in length. So the Journal is 10” [25.4 cm] [this might need to be made longer once I have the actual mechanism...
